The Smiths T-Shirt – Archive Edition (Salford Lads Club)

‘Smith’ is the most common name in our archive of membership records, with more than 200 Smiths having passed through the doors of Salford Lads Club since 1903. They are celebrated in our major artwork The Wall of Names, a laser-cut steel installation in our archive room featuring all 22,373 lads who have been part of the Club since opening.

The artwork for this t-shirt was created directly from a rubbing taken from the Smiths panel on the wall, giving the design a raw, authentic and historic feel. It connects the generations of young people who built the Club’s story long before it became a global cultural landmark.
